"Come Fly With Me" as the song says. Our TGIF model is really in the Halloween spirit. She's off to scare the kiddies going trick or treating. I hope she lands at my house. Anyway, if you're driving this weekend, look out for the costume kids walking the neighborhoods especially late at night. They're too busy working house to house to think of seeing a car in the streets. Be especially careful. And have fun this Halloween!

President Obama made an unscheduled, overnight trip to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware overnight to observe up close a "solemn dignified transfer movement," the event which marks the return to the US of the remains of fallen service members.
The dignified transfer is not considered a "ceremony" by the military, rather, it is considered a "solemn movement" of the transfer case carrying a soldiers' remains. A team of six military personnel from the fallen member's respective service carry the case and a senior flag officer attends every transfer. A dignified transfer is conducted for every U.S. military member who dies in the theater of operation while in the service of their country.

Well Then, Let Them Eat Cake . . .
Sen. Joe Lieberman, the independent Democrat from Connecticut, emerged Tuesday afternoon from a meeting with his caucus as the center of attention -- again.
On his way in, he told reporters that if a public health insurance option was in the final health care bill, he would join a GOP filibuster to prevent it from getting an up or down vote. Boy, what a surprise!
Solution-- Let Them Eat Cake: Eliminate their socialist, government-run insurance plan that covers all members of Congress and their families. That should do it.
