Dozens of Glenn Beck fans who emerged from an event at the University of Central Florida to find their cars gone say they were the victims of a fraternity prank. They followed signs directing them toward free parking, only to later discover that their cars had been towed from a Kappa Sigma parking lot. The 53 Beck fans had to shell out $125 each at the impound lot.

Easter in Sweden
In Sweden, this tale ties in with Easter. And so on skärtorsdag, Maundy Thursday, modern Swedish children dress up as påskkärringar (Easter hags) paint their faces, carry a broom and knock on neighbor’s doors for treats, much like American children do at Halloween.
Dance, Dance, Dance
This dress is fantastic! And she's getting good exercise. Get in the mood to move those arms and legs today. It's the way to a happy and healthy heart.

I Knew That!
"When I was very little, I learned where the "dent" in our upper lip came from.
Before we are born, we are one with all, and we know everything there is to know, As we are descending into our physical bodies, to be birthed by our mothers, the angels accompany us.
Just before we are pulled from our mothers wombs, the angels explain that we need to forget what we already know, in order to make this journey after our birth one of a beautiful discovery on earth...
They then laid a finger upon our lips and said...
"Sssshhh"
McCain is No Longer Good for the U.S.
I hope he doesn't get re-elected.
John McCain: "I believe we must repeal this bill immediately. I am currently working in every way possible on your behalf to accomplish this. However, I am facing a tough reelection campaign. If I am not reelected this year, I cannot fight for our shared values in the Senate".
Here's good advice for Obama from Bill Mahar:
"If you're going to get pilloried and obstructed either way, you may as well accomplish something while you're at it".

It's Off to Work We Go!
I would love to ride to work in a stage coach. Those days past me by as I was too young to deliver mail by pony express. Maybe the picture is Wells Fargo running away from all their foreclosures. Not sure. It's raining here today in Florida, bad storms last night, so it's hard to write "have a great week". I hope you don't have a wet week wherever you are. But whatever you do, it's Monday, time to hit the streets and do it. Be the best at what you do and think Spring!
Congratulations Zoolatry Girls!
Winning Logo
Big congrats and thanks to Ann at Zoolatry for creating the perfect new logo for Charlie's Angels! The two tails that form a heart were hard to resist. A black and white logo is handy for reproducing in newsletter format, and often cheaper for the group to print.
Good going Annie!

Sunday Morning
The Pearl
But in the song there was a secret little inner ... song, hardly perceptible, but always there, sweet and secret and clinging, almost hiding in the counter-melody, and this was the Song of the Pearl That Might Be, for every shell thrown in the basket might contain a pearl. Chance was against it, but luck and the gods might be for it. And in the canoe above him Kino knew that Juana was making the magic of prayer, her face set rigid and her muscles hard to force the luck, to tear the luck out of the gods' hands, for she needed the luck for the swollen shoulder of Coyotito. And because the need was great and the desire was great, the little secret melody of the pearl that might be was stronger this morning. Whole phrases of it came clearly and softly into the Song of the Undersea.

Hello Friday Night!
I loved those piano bars in Georgetown back in the day. We always had a favorite song the Piano Player would play. Real nice memories. Celebrate the Health Care Bill victory and party tonight! Play a song for ME!
Voices Heard This Past Week
Teabaggers yelling racial slurs, spitting on a U.S. Congressman, gay bashing on the steps of the U.S. Capitol, won the week in comments. Sad to say, the bru ha ha about special abortion banning language, signed by President Obama came in second. Most of the comments were in the themes below. Comments start below the image.

the vast majority of republicans (and americans in general) are decent people, but the republicans need to start distancing themselves from these teabagging looneys before their stench takes over. teabaggers are just racist morons and thugs.

It is terrorism and it has been building up to this stage for some time.
Remember when the teabaggers brought guns to Presidential events and Gibbs glibly made light of it? Say what you want about Bush, but do you think he would have stood wimpishly by and allowed that sort of thuggish activity to go on? Obama's milquetoast response only emboldened them.
Someone has to inform him that playing it cool isn't always appropriate. Some situations call for a strong, forceful response. These goons need to have the hammer brought down on them but I fear Obama is to weak to do so.

Simply amazing how these left-wing Looney-Toons are making an issue of an unevent that never took place in the first place. This is just a far left feel-good fluff article. That being said, it's amazing then how quickly the Loons of the left forgot about their mommies and daddies Weather Underground, Black Panther Party and the infamous Symbionese Liberation Army of Patty Hearse fame. Murder, mayhem amd civil ddisorder was the order of the day yet, not a word of indignation was uttered.

I blame it on the dumbing down of the population, since reagan. How'd that work out for you?
SFnomad
We need to call it what it is, right wing domestic terrorism.

I'm wondering if our TGIF Models this week are happy the Health Care Bill passed or just happy the weather is turning to Springtime? Well whatever it is, I'm happy for them. They look like the picture of good health to me. It's been a great week for 32 million Americans who are now eligible for affordable Health Care and I hope they say "Thank You" at the ballot box to the Democrats who won it for them this November. Time will tell, but this will be a good thing for citizens and how we govern. The government should be "for the People". I think the past decade this has been forgotten. Make it a great weekend and exercise, exercise, exercise. Jump up and down like the TGIF Models!
This is True . . .
"I had fun watching right-wingers go wild as health reform finally became law. But a few days later, it doesn’t seem quite as entertaining — and not just because of the wave of vandalism and threats aimed at Democratic lawmakers. For if you care about America’s future, you can’t be happy as extremists take full control of one of our two great political parties.
But back to the main theme. What has been really striking has been the eliminationist rhetoric of the G.O.P., coming not from some radical fringe but from the party’s leaders. John Boehner, the House minority leader, declared that the passage of health reform was “Armageddon.” The Republican National Committee put out a fund-raising appeal that included a picture of Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the House, surrounded by flames, while the committee’s chairman declared that it was time to put Ms. Pelosi on “the firing line.” And Sarah Palin put out a map literally putting Democratic lawmakers in the cross hairs of a rifle sight.
All of this goes far beyond politics as usual. Democrats had a lot of harsh things to say about former President George W. Bush — but you’ll search in vain for anything comparably menacing, anything that even hinted at an appeal to violence, from members of Congress, let alone senior party officials".

YES WE CAN, HELL NO YOU CAN'T, YES WE CAN!
House Republican leader's John Boehner's final "Hell no, you can't" angry and profane rant on Sunday (Mar. 21) against President's Obama's Health Care Plan is now infamous.
This video is really good. Someone on the internet put together a YouTube: "Yes We Can, Hell No You Can't". It's hysterical. It's also patriotic. Boehner looks like the bully he is.
I highly recommend it. Video HERE scroll down!
