Fish Chips

Bet this took a long time.

It's Off to Work We Go!

I don't think I'll be putting on lipstick today or any day, for that matter.  But I have this soft cologne name Diesel that I wear.  Lots of Women ask "what aftershave did you put on today".  Pretty cool.  No it's out by myself with no lipstick as I have a heavy schedule which takes me over to the Cape, then to Viera, and home by way of Rockledge, Florida.  All over the map.  I hope you have a busy day too.  Keep active, work in some exercise, stay heart healthy.

Hello, Hello!

Let's see if they can raise one another.

Sunday Morning

There is a yearning by tens of millions of Americans, lumped into a diffuse and fractious movement, to destroy the intellectual and scientific rigor of the Enlightenment. They seek out of ignorance and desperation to create a utopian society based on "biblical law." They want to transform America's secular state into a tyrannical theocracy. These radicals, rather than the terrorists who oppose us, are the gravest threat to our open society. They have, with the backing of hundreds of millions of dollars in corporate money, gained tremendous power. They peddle pseudoscience such as "Intelligent Design" in our schools. They keep us locked into endless and futile wars of imperialism. They mount bigoted crusades against gays, immigrants, liberals and Muslims. They turn our judiciary, in the name of conservative values, over to corporations. They have transformed our liberal class into hand puppets for corporate power. And we remain meek and supine.

TGIF

Well, our model today got out of work early and is planing a little party tonight, maybe  New Orleans style.  I won't be blasting away like she might be planning but we are having one of the Grandies over for Saturday afternoon if that competes.  We have nicknamed him "House Wrecker" and I'm thinking of leasing him out.  He'll probably leave our place in the same condition the models place will look at the end of a long night.

Why Snookies Voted Republican

I voted Republican because I think the Confederacy had it just about right.

I voted Republican because I know that I can trust deregulation.
I voted Republican because, damn it, we don't need our food inspected, or our streets paved, or clean water, or fire departments.

I voted Republican because I believe that government should police and regulate women's vaginas.

I voted Republican because I only care about deficits...or the constitution...or illegal wars...when there is someone in the White House with a (D) after their name.

I voted Republican because I believe oral sex is an impeachable offense, but torture, secret prisons and illegal wars are just good, clean fun!

I voted Republican because I believe that somehow, someday, I will join the ranks of the wealthiest 1/10th of 1% of the population that Republicans actually care about.

Well now we know.

Now I Only have to Hit the Feeder Once a Week!

What's Going on Here?

Almost the same numbers.  Extrodinary.  Something the Military and Congress better think over.

Jaguar?

Sure looks like ones I saw around D.C. in the early 1960's.  They were antiques then.

OK You Guys Ready to Walk Across the Street?

No ties, You forgot your Ties?

Meanwhile Scotty Mubarak Walker is Turning Wisconsin into a Nazi State

How about we give tax breaks to the rich and then claim we're in a financial crisis and need deep spending cuts, except for military spending and bailouts for Wall Streeters.  Will that work?

I'm scared ... I don't want to go to a nursing home.

what's not being talked about in Wisconsin is the end-around attack against Medicaid that's in Republican Governor Scott Walker's budget.

What is He Talking About?

Besides being a 90 lb weakling in most TeeVee photos, he looks obese in this poster.  Visit North Korea and what? never come home again?

Cool Photo

I love that star effect.

Blogs Lose Out to Twitter and Facebook

Blogs were once the outlet of choice for people who wanted to express themselves online. But with the rise of sites like Facebook and Twitter, they are losing their allure for many people — particularly the younger generation.

Blogs are OUT . . . CATS are in!

Well, It's Off to Work We Go!

For those of us that do not work for the Gubmint it's a work day today.  And I am guessing our model in the boat doesn't either or he's going out to catch his breakfast.  I am not going by boat today although I wish I could afford to.  I'll be working with attorneys who are back logged on Real Estate closings for end of this week.  I don't know how long it will take but we have guests arriving tomorrow and I have to get everything done by then so I can take Wednesday off.  Boating, by the way, see above photo, is great exercise if you live in a place where you can kayak or even canoe.  All heart healthy exercises.  Keep the exercise part in your mind as you live out this week.  And make it  a great week and weekend too.
